Kitchen Fitting & Installation
Kitchen fitting and installation is the process of installing a new kitchen in your home or business premises. This includes measuring, planning, designing, sourcing materials such as cabinets, appliances (such as dishwashers), tiles, etc., building these pieces to size with precision accuracy and then finally assembling them back together for you at your property where we have been instructed to undertake the work. We will also take into account electrical installations (including lighting) on-site during this process.
Benefits of having a customized kitchen fitting and installation
Secondly, it means you can plan around the layout of your property to ensure there is room for a table and chairs (or eating area) and other items. This will allow you to create more functionality than would be possible with an off-the-shelf product where all these elements have already been determined before production begins.
It also provides flexibility when it comes to bespoke features – whether this relates to opening up wall space by knocking down some of the walls between rooms; adding extra panels or doors at different heights; designing open shelving units that do not come as standard on many products, etc., we can make your dream kitchen a reality.

The process we employ in your customized kitchen fitting and installation
As for the installation process, the steps are as follows:
-Clean and tidy the area
-Remove any old fixtures, including doors, units, etc.
-Lay a barrier around flooring areas (usually done by us) or you can lay your own if preferred, to protect it from oozing adhesive.
-Cover worktops with plastic sheeting for protection during installation of new kitchen appliances such as ovens, hobs, sinks etc.-usually done by us but not always necessary for existing kitchens).
This is followed by:
-Creating a base using our proprietary board system that is easy to install in most situations without specialist knowledge or tools – this means we use standard boards at times when they are all that’s needed rather than expensive wood products which would require skilled labour;
-Laying the boards in a way that ensures good insulation and heat retention;
-Providing you with an easy to follow installation guide for your new kitchen.
Tools we use for kitchen fitting and installation
-Saw: jigsaw and hand saws;
-Tablesaw, mitre saw, or chop saw to make cuts in the boards more accurate and safer than with a standard handsaw. We can also cut your existing flooring for you if it’s not too difficult to do so (sometimes kitchen fittings such as sinks etc. are done by us, but this is usually unnecessary since most kitchens have already been fitted out before). This might be desired because we have cheaper labour rates and our prices include everything, including installation, which means there won’t be any hidden costs that would come from having someone else install your new kitchen instead of Premium Kitchen of Leeds.
